Press Release - Town of East Haddam Seeks Volunteers for America 250 Committee

The Town of East Haddam is officially seeking dedicated community members to join the East Haddam America 250 Committee. As our nation prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary this summer of the signing of the July 4, 1776 Declaration of Independence, the committee will lead efforts to coordinate local festivities, historic education, and community engagement.
Working in alignment with the America 250 | CT Commission, East Haddam’s committee aims to Celebrate 250 Years of Freedom that defines our town’s heritage. Volunteers will have the opportunity to help plan signature events, facilitate educational programs, and collaborate with local organizations.
