Our Services:

The Land Use Office (LUO) supplies the full time managerial and support staff for the Planning and Zoning Commission, Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission, Open Space Committee and the Water Pollution Control Authority.  The office also assists the Conservation Commission, Historic Commission, and the Zoning Board of Appeals

The LUO deals with any issue related to building and development questions and assists the public with the application process for preparing to appear before the various Commissions.  This office is responsible for processing zoning permits and wetlands applications.  In addition, the office responds to zoning and wetlands complaints and violations.

East Haddam Park and Recreation serves all community members by providing diverse recreational activities. We strive to include all areas of leisure services, activities, classes and programs. East Haddam Senior Services offers a variety of programs to promote the physical and mental well-being of residents 50 and older. We provide transportation for daily living activities and recreational programs.
