The Town Clerk’s Office is one of the most visited offices in Town Hall. We provide a professional link between the citizens, the local governing bodies and the boards, commissions, committees and agencies of town government. Our main functions are the recording, indexing and copying of land record documents, maps and vital statistics. We are the official repository of notices, agendas and minutes of the various boards and committees and commissions;
We handle election related matters, notarize documents, issue dog, marriage and sporting licenses. We also receive for record, foreclosure registrations, military discharges, trade name certificates and liquor permits.
The Town Clerk's Office is responsible to house and safeguard the Town’s permanent public records.
