Volunteer for a Board, Commission or Committee

Involvement on our boards and commissions is important to the vitality and success of local government.  All of us should consider contributing our own talents to our community.  It takes more than living in a community to be part of it.  Our town needs volunteers in order to face the challenges of the future while maintaining the quality of life that we all enjoy.  Please take time to share your services with others.  Together we will keep East Haddam "A nice place to visit, and a better place to live".

    Volunteer Application Form
Note:  Must be a registered voter and resident of East Haddam to serve on Boards, Commissions, or Committees.

This application lists the permanent Board, Commissions and Committees.  If you are looking to volunteer for one of our short term committees (such as a building or special project committee) please write in the committee name as your first choice.

Volunteers are usually interviewed by their selected Board, Commission or Committee and then recommended for appointment by the Board of Selectmen.

If you have any questions, or require further information, please contact Linda Zemienieski at the Selectmen's Office, (860) 873-5021 or admin@easthaddam.org.  Return your completed form to the Selectmen's Office, Municipal Office Complex, P.O. Box 385, Moodus, CT 06469.
