An Introduction to The Taoist Tai Chi Society® internal art and method of taijiquan (tai chi). The Taoist Tai Chi Society® internal art and method of taijiquan (tai chi) incorporates stretching and turning into a sequence of movements that improve the health of body, mind and spirit. They reduce tension; improve circulation and balance and increase strength and flexibility. In this six week introductory class, you will learn approximately 25 of the 108 moves that make up the complete sequence of the Taoist Tai Chi™ internal art of taijiquan (tai chi). The class is open regardless of physical conditioning or age. At the end of the class, you will have the opportunity to join The Society and learn the remainder of the set. The Taoist Tai Chi™ internal art of taijiquan, taught entirely by volunteers, is not only physically beneficial but fun and a chance to be part of an energetic group focused on health and well being.
