Annual Project Safe Halloween

All children up through grade 8 who are residents of East Haddam/Moodus are invited to attend the Annual Project Safe Halloween Party on Saturday, October 31, 5 to 8 p.m. in the Elementary School gymnasium. Come have your picture taken in your costume, see the DARE Car, take a hayride, trick or treat for lots of goodies, and more. This event, offered as a safe, fun alternative to traditional trick or treating, is sponsored by the East Haddam Police Department.
Civic groups are encouraged to join us by sponsoring a table. Please contact Maryjane Malavasi at (860) 873-0707 to register. You must register prior to the event in order to participate.

ADULT costume contest sponsored by Park & Recreation. Come dressed in your favorite costume (family friendly ones) and register at the front table. Prizes will be awarded.
Calling all kids! Stop in at the Elementary School gym on October 30th between 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. to decorate a pumpkin. Then come to Project Safe Halloween and cast your vote for your favorite pumpkin in a number of different categories. Prizes will be awarded.
This event is totally funded by donations. Monetary donations are needed and can be sent to Project Safe Halloween, P.O. Box K, East Haddam, CT 06423. Donations of candy cannot be accepted.
