    An Open-Ended Celebration of Spirituality,
    Creativity and the Community of Life
    Saturday, June 28th
    11 AM to 11 PM (Rain or Shine)
    Living fully awake and present to one’s experiences, being authentically creative, serving the greater good, and living in joy and harmony with all of nature – this is the promise and practice of the Spiritual Path and it is what the Sanctuary will be celebrating, discussing and practicing on June 28th when it hosts the third annual Creative Spirituality Fair.
    This year, the CSF offers some very special guests, including David Newman aka Durga Das. (www.davidnewmanmusic.com) A kirtan artist, sacred singer songwriter and practitioner of Bhakti Yoga, David will be offering a special Bhakti yoga workshop – the Yoga of Love - as well as a kirtan performance with his fantastic band. Kirtan is a call-and-response chanting meditation set to music which induces a powerful ecstatic experiences.
    The day will also include presentations, talks and meditations by various spiritual luminaries including:
    Adam Bucko (www.adambucko.com) Co-author of Occupy Spirituality: A Radical Vision for a New Generation, along with famed theologian Mathew Fox, Adam Bucko is a spiritual director to many of New York City’s homeless youth and founder of HAB, an ecumenical and inter-spiritual “new monastic” fellowship for young people which offers formation in radical spirituality and sacred activism. Adam will be speaking about spiritual activism.
    Chris Grosso, author of The Indie Spiritualist: A no bullshit exploration of Spirituality. (www.theindiespiritualist.com) Musician, creator of The Indie Spiritualist Blog and Spiritual Director of the Sanctuary, Chris offers a fresh, empowering perspective on spirituality for those who have felt alienated from organized religion and mass culture. Chris will be speaking about spirituality and healing in conversation with Adam Bucko.
    Carol Piro, founder of Lotus Pod, a resource for healers, Carol is a Law of Attraction Life Coach, Reflexologist, Transformational Breath Facilitator and Energy Therapist. A gifted healer, she will talk on hummingbird medicine and share some of her wisdom and experiences with the healing process (www.lotuspod.org)
    Rabbi Paul L. Saal, founding spiritual leader of Congregation Shuvah Yisrael in Bloomfield, CT, and a Director of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations. Rabbi Saal will be speaking on the Healing of the World. (www.shuvahviews.org)
    Jen Taylor, Executive Director of the Sanctuary, Neolithic philosopher and circus yogini,will be speaking on the Spirituality of Rewilding – the philosophy behind her innovative educational program Om-FLY, which teaches discipline, compassion and transformational health through play and fuses partner and flying yoga with circus community.     Sean White, writer, rap artist and poet. Sean will be performing The Poetry of the Ayni Way, inspired by his shamanic voyages in Peru.
    Meditations, yoga, hooping, musical performances, holistic vendors and healthy food will round out this glorious 12 hours of peace, love and understanding during the Creative Spirituality Fair.

    This event is being held on the Sanctuary’s 40 acre land preserve, lots of room for picnicking, wandering trails, enjoying peaceful open space.
