The Middle School Conversion Committee (MSCC) is in the process of collecting information regarding the re-use of the current Middle School building for East Haddam Town Offices.  The MSCC is currently working on: assignment of space area recommendations, documenting the physical condition of the building, and researching grant opportunities.  A Request for Qualifications for Engineering and Architectural Services (RFQ) has been approved by the committee and will be published soon.  During the month of April, we anticipate interviewing firms that responded to the RFQ.

Regular monthly meetings are held in the Middle School Library at 7:00 PM.  Meetings this quarter are scheduled for March 17, April 21 (in the Town Office Annex), and May 19.  All meetings are open to the public and the MSCC would like public participation early on in the process.  For this reason, we are proud to announce our new website: www.ehmscc.com  Here - you will find information relevant to the project.  Please check back often, as we update the website frequently, including posting agendas and minutes for all meetings.

Please mark your calendars for our first informal Public Forum!  We will hold this forum on April 28 in the cafeteria at the current Middle School.  Meeting time is 7-8 pm; followed by a guided tour, scheduled from 8-9 pm.
